Let it shine in 2009! Wow I have been so busy already this year. I went to MK January Jump Start in San Antonio this past weekend with my oldest daughter, Audree. After listing to Allison LaMarr, one of the keynote speakers, I realized I was not cut from the same cloth as the rest of the MK world. I will still remain an "Independent Beauty Consultant", but will not be reaching for the keys to a pink caddy anytime soon. But what was AWESOME was the talk from Allison on "Clarity" and how I could apply those principals to my photography. I came home and discussed it with the husband and realized something, I really need to figure out those five simple steps she highlighted.
1. Define who you are.
2. Define what you want.
3. Have a belief system.
4. Have an action plan, 30 years, 10 years, and 12 months.
5. Recognize what it is that is holding you back.
After all was said and done, I am not a sales person. I am not a corporate climber. I want to love what I am doing. I want to make a difference in the lives of those who come in contact with me. Even if that means I only made them smile. I want to leave a footprint in this life that says "She was a good woman and did good things with her life." I'll be 40 this month and maybe that is why I feel the need to wax poetic, who knows. So if I have the joy of shooting some pictures of you I hope you are pleased with them. And I hope they make you smile, cause I know I will smile when I see you loving the life you live.

This weeks little lovie is my newest friend Madilynn Grace. She blessed us with her appearance on December 8, 2008. Her family are some of my favorite people in this world. She is the first baby I have zoomed in on beside my little nephew Carter. Welcome Madilynn, I am looking forward to capturing your personality as you grow.
